TechLogStack (“we,” “us”) operates https://techlogstack.com, an editorial website. This policy describes how we handle information when you visit and read our case studies.
Who this applies to
This site is aimed at a general technical audience. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Information we collect
When you browse
We measure aggregate website usage with a privacy-first approach. We do not use cookies for analytics. We generate a daily-rotating anonymous identifier from your IP address and browser type to count unique visits; the raw IP address is never stored. That identifier changes every 24 hours and cannot be used to track you across days. Country-level location may be inferred from your IP (via our CDN) and the IP is then discarded.
Like most websites, we also receive standard technical information needed to deliver pages—such as browser type and requested pages—for reliability and abuse prevention. We do not sell that information or use it to build advertising profiles.
Newsletter
If you subscribe, we store your email address and may record which article you were reading when you signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email. To request deletion of your data, email hello@techlogstack.com.
Optional saved preferences
You may choose to save a display name (and optionally an email) so the site can recognize you on return visits. You can skip this entirely and still read every case study.
How we use information
- Run and improve the site.
- Show your saved preferences back to you when you return.
- Respond if you email us at hello@techlogstack.com.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not buy email lists.
When we share information
We share information only when needed to operate the site or comply with law:
- Trusted partners that help us host and deliver the website, under their own privacy terms.
- When required to respond to a valid legal request.
Case studies link to third-party sites (company blogs, documentation). Those sites have their own policies once you leave TechLogStack.
Retention
Raw visit records are kept for up to 90 days, then deleted after nightly aggregation into anonymous daily totals. Optional preference data stays until you ask us to remove it or we delete it during routine housekeeping.
Your choices
- Use the site without saving any preferences.
- Email us to request deletion of preference data you can verify (for example, the email you used).
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under local law. Email us with your request and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
International visitors
Our site is in English and available globally. If you access it from outside your home country, your information may be processed in the regions where our service providers operate.
